I'm Carolyn, a certified Nutrition Coach based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and I'm passionate about helping women like you improve your nutritional health and wellness so you can feel your very best as you navigate through midlife and the menopause. I support women over forty who are struggling with perimenopause weight loss and potentially pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, providing a guiding hand to creating a practical, sustainable nutrition and wellness plan so you can achieve a happier, healthier diet and lifestyle...without having to give up your favourite foods!

I know that this time of a woman's life brings a unique set of both physical and emotional challenges, which can be difficult to balance, sometimes overwhelming, and leave little time for self-care. The list of challenges can be long: shifts in family dynamics as kids fly the nest; ageing parents who require more care; career disillusionment bringing a desire for change; not to mention coping with the physical symptoms of menopause, including stubborn weight gain, hot flushes, mood swings and sleep deprivation, leaving you feeling deflated and fed up.

Changing your diet and tackling excess weight may feel like a step too far when things are already hard. I understand all of this because I am a woman in midlife who has experienced many of these challenges myself. This personal experience enables me to provide a truly empathetic nutrition coaching service, sharing how to make healthy meal planning easy and enjoyable so you can achieve your goals.
